Building Faith. Transforming Lives. Advancing the Kingdom.
Our Vision
To proclaim Jesus Christ, build faith, transform lives and advance the Kingdom of God across Kenya, throughout East Africa and to the nations of the world.
Our Mission
To make disciples of Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, biblical teaching, evangelism, outreach, fellowship, service and mission, while helping individuals, families and communities grow in faith and experience the transforming power of God.
Building Faith. Transforming Lives. Advancing the Kingdom.
This motto expresses the heart of JMC: to establish people firmly in their faith, encourage meaningful transformation through Jesus Christ and participate actively in the work of God's Kingdom.
Jesus Ministries Canaan
Jesus Ministries Canaan (JMC) is a Christ-centered church rooted in Kenya and committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving God's people.
From our local roots in Diani, Kanana and Bando in Kwale County, and our growing presence in Nakuru and other communities, JMC carries a vision that reaches beyond any single location.
We believe the Church is called not only to gather people for worship, but also to make disciples, strengthen families, raise the next generation, serve communities and carry the message of Jesus Christ wherever God opens the way.
JMC therefore looks beyond its immediate community with a vision for ministry across Kenya, throughout East Africa and ultimately to the wider world.
Founded on the Word of God
JMC is founded upon the Word of God and seeks to remain Christ-centered in its teaching, worship, leadership and mission. We believe that the Church belongs to Jesus Christ and that every ministry, activity and undertaking should contribute to the purposes of God's Kingdom.
We seek to encourage believers to know Christ, grow in spiritual maturity, live according to God's Word and become faithful witnesses of the Gospel in their families, workplaces, schools, communities and beyond.

Diani, Kanana and Bando are part of our ministry presence in Kwale County, while Nakuru represents JMC's growing presence beyond the coastal region within Kenya.
These communities represent important expressions of the JMC ministry, but they do not define its geographical limit. Our vision is to serve God's people and proclaim the Gospel across Kenya, throughout East Africa and to the wider world.
Building a Strong Christian Generation
JMC believes that strong families and a spiritually grounded next generation are essential to the future of the Church and society.
We seek to encourage parents, children, young people and families to grow together in faith, develop godly character, discover their gifts and become responsible servants of God and their communities.
Taking the Gospel Beyond the Church
JMC believes that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a message that must be shared. We are therefore committed to evangelism, outreach, crusades, personal witness and mission.
We seek to reach people through preaching, teaching, worship, prayer, community engagement and practical expressions of Christian love.
Faith Expressed Through Service
JMC seeks to demonstrate the love of Christ not only through words, but also through practical service.
We are committed to responding with compassion to individuals, families and communities, encouraging dignity, hope, responsibility and positive transformation.
Servant Leadership
JMC is committed to servant leadership that reflects the character of Jesus Christ. We believe those entrusted with leadership are called to serve God's people with humility, integrity, wisdom, accountability and faithfulness.
Building for Ministry and the Future
JMC is developing its church facilities to provide a suitable environment for worship, prayer, biblical teaching, fellowship, discipleship and ministry.
We welcome individuals, families, churches, organizations and friends of JMC who may wish to stand with us through prayer, encouragement and practical support.
Looking Ahead With Faith
JMC looks to the future with faith, prayer and a commitment to the purposes of God.
We desire to strengthen the Church in Kenya, develop ministry communities, equip children and young people, strengthen families, raise servant leaders and expand opportunities for evangelism, outreach and mission.
As God opens doors, we look forward to seeing the ministry grow beyond its present locations and contribute to the proclamation of the Gospel across Kenya, throughout East Africa and to the nations.
God's Field. God's Building.
“For we are co-workers in God's service; you are God's field, God's building.”
— 1 Corinthians 3:9
